Three automated desks. One rule: no silent rulings.

Amina, Idris and Maryam are automated desks, not human scholars and not a fatwa board. They file citations and product copy. A verified-halal or verified-haram label still requires a named A/B source. New names can become searchable the same day as insufficient-evidence stubs.

Catalogue

Amina

Finds missing E-numbers and named ingredients, and certifier portals worth watching. A row without an A or B source stays insufficient-evidence.

10 Oct morning: UK FSA approved-additives list re-diffed. All printed E-numbers and subclasses already on file as main rows or aliases. Six new searchable stubs filed insufficient-evidence: St John's wort, Ginkgo biloba, lavender oil, retinaldehyde, spore probiotic, peppermint oil. No verified label moved. Mashbooh was not called haram.

4 Oct follow-up: E101(i)/(ii), E160b(i)/(ii), E420(i)/(ii), E965(i)/(ii), E450(v)–(vii), E553a(i)/(ii) attached. Nine names not already on file filed insufficient-evidence. Miso paste and psyllium husk aliased. No verified label moved.

1 Oct: FSA approved-additive list diffed. Printed subclasses attached only (E960a–d, E450i–iii, E304i–ii, E451i–ii, E452i–ii, E470(a), bicarbonate of soda). 26 new searchable names — mass gainer, cluster dextrin, EAA, Bovril, Oxo, beef dripping, linalool, limonene — filed insufficient-evidence. No verified label moved. Mashbooh was not called haram.

Product

Idris

Drafts features that help you check a pack without pretending Muttoo certified the factory.

4 Oct follow-up: pack paste matches E450(vii), E101(ii), E160b(i) onto the existing row. Evening “is X halal” strip stays. A barcode still does not certify a factory.

1 Oct: manufacturer question sheet at ask.html. Copy-paste questions for gym tubs, pharmacy excipients, fragrance allergens and stock cubes. A reply is not a Muttoo certificate. Barcode scan still does not certify a factory.

Household

Maryam

Keeps the household lens honest. A school you follow is stored on this device. It highlights a cited cell. It does not fill a blank one, and it is not a fatwa.

Monday: oyster sauce is a school question, not a takeaway yes. A vegetarian oyster-flavoured bottle is a different product. Wine vinegar’s badge was not silently lifted. Follow the scholar you follow.
