Corrections policy

A reference site earns trust by how it handles being wrong.

Report an error

Open an issue on the project repository with the page URL and what you believe is wrong. If the issue is a classification, include the source you are relying on — a correction needs a citation just like the original entry does.

What happens next

1. We check the claim against the cited source and, where relevant, the source registry.
2. If the source has changed or was misread, the record is corrected, the change is logged on the public changelog, and the page's last-verified date is updated.
3. If the disagreement is scholarly rather than factual, the new position is added alongside the existing ones with its own citation — positions are shown, never silently replaced.

What we will not do

We do not remove a cited position because someone dislikes it, and we do not add a position that cannot be traced to a named, checkable source. Paid placement of classifications does not exist on this site and never will.
