Muttoo maps ingredients. It does not certify a factory. When a row is insufficient-evidence or source-dependent, these are the questions that actually close the gap. Paste them into an email. A brand reply is evidence you can read. It is not a Muttoo verified-halal label.
What a barcode is not
- A barcode identifies a retail pack. It does not certify the plant.
- A halal logo on a photo is not filed as verified-halal from the photo.
- Mashbooh is not haram. Do not write that in the email, and Muttoo will not.
Gym tub
- Protein: whey, casein, pea, soy, or a blend? Any enzyme used to make the whey?
- Capsule or flavour carrier: gelatin, HPMC, glycerin, ethanol, propylene glycol?
- Magnesium stearate or capsule shell: plant or animal?
- Mass gainer: name the carb (maltodextrin, dextrose, cluster dextrin, waxy maize) and the flavour solvent.
Pharmacy pack
- Is the shell gelatin or hypromellose?
- Lactose, stearate, and film coat — animal or not?
- Liquid: ethanol, glycerin, or neither?
Pharmacy actives
- Metformin, atorvastatin, sertraline, amoxicillin, levothyroxine, warfarin: what is the tablet coat, and is magnesium stearate vegetable?
- Isotretinoin and fluconazole: gelatin shell or HPMC?
- Diphenhydramine syrup and lactulose: glycerin source and flavour carrier?
- A reply about an excipient is not a ruling on taking the medicine.
Cosmetics
- Linalool, limonene, citronellol, geraniol, hexyl cinnamal: allergen names. What is the fragrance solvent?
- Tocopheryl acetate: synthetic or soy?
- Sodium hyaluronate: fermentation or animal tissue?
- Fatty alcohol: palm or tallow?
- Gluconolactone / PHA and copper peptide: what is the serum base?
- Carmine lipstick: same insect colour as E120. The stick base is a separate check.
Flavour and kitchen
- Ethyl butyrate, benzaldehyde, isoamyl acetate: what carries the flavour?
- Bovril, Oxo, beef dripping: which animal, and was it halal-slaughtered?
- Ethyl vanillin, eugenol, anethole, citral, orange oil: what carries the flavour — ethanol, propylene glycol, or glycerin?
- Doubanjiang, HP sauce, zhug: any alcohol, anchovy, shrimp, or unnamed animal fat?
- UHT and lactose-free milk: which animal, and what is the vitamin D3 source?
- Vegetable stock: any animal fat or animal flavour on the cube?
